Well, today didn’t look much different from the day or week before, but something in the air certainly felt spring-y. Something about the first 50+ degree day after a long stretch of cold (Virginia cold, not real cold), mostly grey days. I helped cook dinner for the community, and it was difficult to be in the kitchen; mostly I wanted to laze around outside, help light the fire and grill the burgers (although, alas, I mostly had to work inside, baking the buns and grilling up the onions, peppers, and mushrooms). Given that there’s supposedly a big snowstorm coming in a couple of days, it’s still too early to say that spring is here, but we were definitely feeling its warm breath this afternoon.
Oh yeah, and I saw this snowdrop blooming in front of ZK. It’s the first one I’ve seen this year, and it was quite pretty.
